The stability of our hammocks is a major comfort factor of our hammocks and this stability comes from both the construction and the "loopy" catenary angle of good installation. Individual tastes vary, but most find that a configuration with the hammock ends between 6' to 7' (1.8M to 2.2M) above floor level and the hammock bottom about 1.5' (0.5M) above floor level works well.

For exterior areas without supports or shade, we have created the NicaStand™, a unique, graceful, beautiful and strong, shaded support stand that is perfect for the "Couples", "Single" and "Cabin" hamaca models. This stand has four arched legs supporting an upper support arc and is made from hot-rolled steel that is electro-plated with a zinc-chromate finish for maximum corrosion protection and then powder coated, and further supports an optional sail-like sunshade made of vinyl-coated polyester mesh. The nautical look of the stand and shade become a landscaping focus and gives visual interest to previously un-noticed areas.
